The UTAH sea salt we use is an unrefined and natural salt, free from any additives or any kind of chemicals. UTAH sea salt unique "reddish/pink" appearance and specks of color originate from over 50 natural trace minerals.

UTAH sea salt is not from the Great Salt Lake in Utah. It is actually from a prehistoric salt deposit close to a small town in Utah, which is over 150 miles away from the Great Salt Lake. At the time of the earth's Jurassic period, a large sea covered the majority of what is now considered North America. Over time the water in this sea evaporated, and left behind a  vast deposit of salt in central Utah. A series of volcanoes erupted around the ancient seabed, and sealed the salt and it's trace minerals from pollutants of the modern day.

      Air-dried duck breast is hard to find, and this one is exceptional. Anyone fond of prosciutto, especially the feral pig Jamon Iberico of Spain, will find this alternative more than competitive. (Posted on 4/22/10)

      Tradition with a twist, a more heart healthy approach as well as being a friendly option for those not able to eat pork or that just do not desire pork. Cured with a floral essence of sea salt, cane sugar, hints of peppercorns, juniper and other spices.
